The 2022 Mercury 40ELHPT SeaPro 40HP Outboard Motor is engineered for demanding commercial and professional marine environments. Powered by a 995cc inline 4-cylinder SOHC engine, this outboard provides strong torque and smooth operation while maintaining excellent fuel economy. The integrated Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) system ensures fast starting, consistent throttle response, and efficient fuel delivery in all operating conditions.

This model is equipped with Mercury’s Command Thrust gearcase, which features a larger gear housing and deeper propeller placement. This system provides improved propulsion, increased boat control, and better performance when pushing heavier loads or operating in rough water conditions.

The Big Tiller handle offers advanced control directly from the tiller, allowing operators to manage steering, throttle, shifting, and trim easily. This makes the engine ideal for commercial fishing boats, workboats, patrol boats, and larger aluminum boats.
